Julie and Rob | Oregon Engagement Photography

Ever since moving from Albany to Oregon City I’ve been doing a ton of driving back and forth.
I actually enjoy driving, so it’s not a big deal, but I am getting a little sick of seeing the same
50 miles of I-5 over and over again. So when I mapped out directions to Rob & Julie’s
engagement session location, I was thrilled to see that I could take backroads the whole way
and it would be roughly the travel time! I really do feel lucky to live in Oregon – we have some
some of the very best scenery in the USA to drive through. And I can make that bold claim since
I drove all the way across this country last year 😉

Right as I arrived the clouds broke way to golden evening sun that sparkled across the river – you
could have almost convinced me it was a summer evening! We wandered around the river bank
taking photos and chatting about their upcoming wedding. Rob pointed out swimming holes that
he grew up swimming in – which made an already perfect location that much more special.

I’m looking forward to their Yellow Gold Farm wedding later this year!

Patricia, James and Family! | Washington Family Photography

Patricia & James are getting married this fall and decided to make their engagement session a family affair! After being rained out a few times we finally lucked out with an absolutely beautiful sunny day for their family/engagement session.

Whenever possible I like getting to do photo sessions at locations that are special to my clients. James frequently drives by Louis Rasmussen Day Park for work and loves the area, so it was a
natural choice for their photo session.

Not long after we settled on a fun beach location we were photo bombed by a beautiful huge sternwheeler coming in to dock – which made for a fun backdrop.

Patricia & James; I had a blast with you guys! Looking forward to hanging out with the whole family again at the wedding!

Donahue Family | Salem Family Photography

I had SO much fun getting to hang out with the Donahue Family! My husband went to highschool with these two, so we hung out quite a bit back in the day, but I hadn’t had a chance to meet their kiddos yet and boy was I missing out! Have you ever seen such sweet and adorable kids?
The twins are celebrating their 3rd birthday and the newest member of the family is already 6 months old, so it was time to get photos as a family of 5!
We spent some time exploring the kid’s great-grandparent’s farm and even got in some
teddybear-tossing and dandelion-blowing – so you know it was a successful photo session!
