Can’t believe I forgot to share this family session from last year! I loved getting to know the Yoakums family and spending time wandering around Salem capturing their memories and playing with their adorable boys.
Ballenger Family | Gender Reveal with Paint!
Do you remember a few months ago when I talked about my GOALS for 2013? Goal #2 was to shoot a gender reveal. So when I got an email from Keri asking if I would be interested in shooting her family’s gender reveal paint war I squealed with excitement! (no, seriously I did- you can ask Andrew!) Of course I was interested! I met up with Keri, Cole and their adorable son Jacob for some family photos and then half way through I sent them off for a little walk while I opened the envelope that had been sealed by the ultrasound tech containing the gender of their baby. It’s a strange feeling being the only one that knows something that important about the lives of people you barely know! I joined up with the Ballengers and peeked inside the bottles of paint to make sure I picked out 3 bottles of BLUE paint. I handed off the carefully disguised bottles to them and the rest you can see for yourself below! Enjoy!
I’m pretty sure gender reveals are my new favorite thing! Are you expecting? I’d love to help you document the excitement of finding out your child’s gender. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you’re interested in some type of reveal session.
Caitlin Class of 2013 | Albany Senior Photographer
Caitlin’s mom called me last month looking for a photographer that could squeeze in a senior session for her daughter asap. One week later they had their session done and photos in hand. Sometimes with the craziness of life, things like senior photos slip through the cracks. Obviously it’s not always possible to squeeze in a last minute session, but if you find yourself in dire need of photographs in a hurry don’t hesitate to call. I’ll do everything I can to make it work for you!
Isn’t Caitlin beautiful? I had fun getting to know her and her mom and photographing her smiling face. Congratulations Caitlin – enjoy the last few weeks of your senior year!
