I had a great time getting to know Jordan a few weeks ago. I really enjoy photographing seniors, and Jordan was no exception, he has a contagious smile and was up for anything! We spent some time wandering around Albany and getting some photos that matched his personality and style.
Thanks for hanging out with me Jordan, best of luck on your last year of high school!
Ian | Taft High School Class of 2014
I don’t even know where to start talking about Ian’s session. When his mom contacted me to shoot his senior photos it took me about a week to get over the fact that ‘little’ Ian was a senior. We grew up on the same road in Lincoln City and I used to baby sit him when we was a toddler / kid. I’ll refrain from sharing any stories Ian – but I can’t resist sharing this cute photo I have of you!
Two years after this photo was taken I graduated high school and moved away and unfortunatly didn’t get to see Ian very often. Then next thing I know, he’s a foot taller than me and graduating high school himself! (I feel OLD!) Thanks Ian for hanging out with me. It was a blast to go back my my old stomping grounds and get to see that many of Ian’s favorite activities were things I did growing up too (exploring the woods, wading through the swamp, finding huckleberries etc)
One we were done exploring the woods, Ian and I headed to the beach because you can’t be a senior on the coast and not get a few beach photos, and what’s more Lincoln City that photos in the fog? Right?
Ian’s family is a bit of a coast icon. In fact if you’ve been to Lincoln City, chances are you’ve met them. They own Alder House Glass Blowing near Salishan Resort. They are some of the nicest, kindest and all around coolest people you’ll ever meet. So if you haven’t been to Alder House you should go visit. Tell them to make you a lamp shade, it’s one of the funnest things to watch being made!
Caitlin Class of 2013 | Albany Senior Photographer
Caitlin’s mom called me last month looking for a photographer that could squeeze in a senior session for her daughter asap. One week later they had their session done and photos in hand. Sometimes with the craziness of life, things like senior photos slip through the cracks. Obviously it’s not always possible to squeeze in a last minute session, but if you find yourself in dire need of photographs in a hurry don’t hesitate to call. I’ll do everything I can to make it work for you!
Isn’t Caitlin beautiful? I had fun getting to know her and her mom and photographing her smiling face. Congratulations Caitlin – enjoy the last few weeks of your senior year!
