Olivia and Nathan | Yellow Gold Farm Wedding

Olivia and Nathan chose the beautiful Yellow Gold Farm in Albany for their wedding venue. It’s been a few years since I’ve shot out at Yellow Gold Farm and I was blown away by the amazing new features and updates it has. Hopefully I’ll be shooting there again soon as it’s quickly become a favorite – plus Heather, the venue owner / wedding planner is lovely to work with and has so much experience making your dream day come to fruition. Nathan and Olivia went with a gorgeous wildflower/woodsy look and From The Heart Floral did an absolutely amazing job showing that theme throughout the wedding – from the bouquets to the cake flowers I couldn’t stop ooing and aaahing over the flowers. I’ll let you see for yourself below. Olivia asked if I would be able to do a day-of slide show using the huge TV that Yellow Gold Farm provides in the reception hall. It was my first time doing a slide show of images shot that day and admittedly I was a little nervous about getting it all running properly. However it went off flawlessly and I thought it was a really fun touch to their reception- giving their guests a sneak peek at the getting ready photos, all the fun couple photos and even the ceremony photos that were taken moments before.

Congratulations Nathan and Olivia! I hope your marriage is full of blessings for many years to come.

The Millers | Family Photos at Hawk Creek Cellars

I’m so excited to share The Miller’s family photos from last week. Their family hasn’t had family photos done in about 26 years (their daughter wasn’t even born yet!) So I’m thrilled they decided to make time to update their family portrait while on a family vacation to visit their son in Portland. The Miller’s love wine tasting as a family and fell in love with gorgeous Hawks View Cellars on their last trip to Oregon so it was a very fitting place for their session. They wanted their family photos to reflect their love for wine, be relaxed and ‘non pose-y’ which fits well with my style. I’m sure you’ll be able to tell from the photos below, but the four of them interact so well together and you can truly see the family love!

Millers- thank you so much for spending part of your vacation hanging out with me, and for overlooking the fact that I’m more of a micro brew girl than a wine lover! =) I really enjoyed meeting you all.

Brandon and Tammy’s Wedding at Paradise Springs

Outdoor weddings in Oregon before mid-july are always a little dicey when it comes to weather, but Brandon and Tammy got lucky with beautiful (warm!) weather at their early June wedding. Their wedding was at Paradise Springs in Monroe and from the details to the weather to the gorgeous surroundings it could not have been more beautiful.

Thank you Brandon and Tammy for including me in your big day. I loved shooting your wedding at Paradise Springs and getting to tell your story through photos.
