My sister Rachel and her husband Keith run Provenance Farm in Philomath where they raise pasture raised beef, chickens, lamb and even yummy thanksgiving turkey! They also sell cage-free eggs, which always makes me giggle a little when I say that because I think of a herd (flock?) of eggs roaming around a pasture until they are ready to be eaten….am I the only one?

Rachel and Keith wanted to get some photos of their animals and pasture for their website and being a farm girl at heart I was happy to oblige. Aren’t these happy looking animals? This is Emmie, because no farm would be complete with out a dog for chicken herding. She knows how to cool off on a hot day!
