Jenn and David | Albany Oregon Engagement Photos

Jenn called me an hour before the session to make sure we were still on even though it was a little wet outside. It was barely sprinkling and there had been blue skies earlier, so I told her I was game if they were! Of course as soon as we got out of the car the skies opened up and it started absolutely dumping rain. Jenn and David were the best sports and totally embraced the unpredictable Oregon weather. I’m so glad we didn’t reschedule because we got some super fun photos that wouldn’t have happened without the rain.

You know it’s going to be a good photo when you nervously ask “Sooo, how do you feel about trying to look sexy, while getting drenched and being freezing cold?” and you’re met with an excited “Yes! what do you want us to do!?”
Jenn and David – You two are fierce! I’m so looking forward to your wedding next year.

Jennifer and Mike | A Sanctuary at Washburn Heights Wedding

I have seen photos of the gorgeous Sanctuary at Washburn Heights online and had been dying to see the amazing views and venue in person so you can imagine how excited I was to shoot Jen and Mike’s wedding there! It didn’t disappoint, the venue provided a beautiful backdrop to Jen and Mike’s perfect wedding. See for yourself:

Congratulations Jen and Mike and thank you for including me in your big day!

Beth and Leif | Trout Lake Wedding Photographers

Beth and Leif’s backyard wedding had it all! Stunning mountain views, river backdrops, farm animals and yes, even a climbing wall which you’ll see this adventurous duo climbing below! Oh and I can’t forget the dogs! There may have been more dogs than humans at this wedding- which made me a happy camper. I think I’ll make it a goal to shoot at least one wedding every year with a dog ringbearer/friend in it. (I’m serious!)

P.S. I know it might look like I took more photos of Mount Adams than I did of Beth and Leif-

a.) that’s simply not true- I took at least 5 more photos of the bride and groom than I did of the mountain =)
and b.) it’s not my fault it was so photogenic!

As always – you can see more of Beth and Leif’s photos on facebook!
