April & Allen did an amazing job of working their personalities and hobbies into their wedding day. From the dog tags of current and former furry friends attached to April’s bouquet, to the fishing fly on the guys boutonnieres and many other details – the things that bring them joy in life were woven into their big day.

Their ceremony was under the incredible walnut tree at Yellow Gold Farm – Having an outdoor ceremony in Oregon in May is always a bit risky, but the weather couldn’t have been more beautiful!

This sweet mother-daughter shoot for Amber and Madilyn was a birthday gift for mom-Amber from her parents. She wanted photos of her and Madilyn together and then some showing of some of Madilyn’s favorite things: reading and dressing up! Madilyn had a great time getting to play ‘model’ in front of the camera and Amber was able to get some photos of the two of them that she’ll cherish.

When families are spread out over multiple states you need to make the most of it when you’re all in the same place at the same time. I really enjoyed getting to capture those moments for this extended family – it was great getting to see sisters, cousins, grandparents and kids all having fun together as a family. Plus, any time I get to do a session on the beach it’s a good day!
