Stacey & Colin’s Backyard Wedding | Albany Wedding Photographer

Stacey and Colin hosted the most amazing backyard wedding, complete with three live bands and three wedding dresses – one of which had been Stacey’s moms! Stacey’s twin daughters
Cleo and Cosette stole the show as the flower girls and comic relief for the evening.
Hosting the wedding in a family member’s back yard made the evening intimate and personal; guests enjoyed playing yard games and the kids enjoyed rolling down the sloping hills.

On Stacey & Colin’s first date they discovered a creme brulee milk stout that they absolutely loved so they ordered a few cases and used it for their toasts – just one of the many personal touches they added to their wedding day.
As the evening turned into night we were graced with a beautiful August sunset and Ludicrous Speed, an 8-piece ska band from Corvallis, helped the guests dance the night away. (Side note, I’m not-so-secrectly a ska fan so I was pretty excited with their band choice!)

Stephanie – Class of 2018 | Albany Oregon Senior Photos

Last week I got to hang out with Stephanie and photograph her senior photos. Stephanie had requested a field of tall grass for her pictures, which can be hard to find this time of year since most of the fields have already been harvested, but I managed to find a secret field of tall, golden grass that worked perfectly! The day of Stephanie’s session the air was filled with smoke from the devastating forest fires in the area, but the sun managed to fight it’s way through the haze and we had a beautiful morning session.
Thanks for having me as your photographer Stephanie. Good luck with your senior year!

Ramon – Class of 2018 | Albany Senior Photos

Taking Ramon’s senior photos was so much fun for me! He emailed me with a very specific idea in mind – senior photos, downtown, at night – and I was all over it! Ramon had seen Tess’s carnival senior session and wanted to do his own take on the after-dark photos. I love it when seniors are excited for their photos and want to come up with a super unique session that reflects their
personalities.  So without further ado, here is Ramon:
