Prickett Family Christmas Lifestyle Session | Oregon City Family Photographer

A few years ago when my niece Clara was a baby, I asked my sister if we could do a lifestyle
session instead of the traditional posed family photos that she was probably expecting and
hoping for. It turned out adorable, and was so much fun, that when Clara’s brother Jules came
along this year, we decided we needed to do another lifestyle photo session with the family of four!

Lots of life had happened between their first lifestyle session and their second;
new house, new town, new baby, an active 3.5 year old – it really is quite fun, even as an outsider,
to look at the differences between the two sessions! (You can see the first one here)

I recently moved myself and suddenly realized how sad I am that I didn’t do my own lifestyle
session in the home my partner and I lived in for 9 years.

These sessions aren’t about perfection. They’re not about perfectly clean homes.
They’re not about everyone being on their best behavior.
They’re not about faking moments for an instagram photo.

They ARE about capturing personalities.
Freezing little moments in time. Documenting life as it is for you right now.
Showing off the home you live in (even if it’s not your dream house!).
They’re about remembering the splashing toddlers in the bath.
About the family times in front of the Christmas Tree.
They’re about the tickle fights that happen in the middle of reading stories in bed.
And most of all, they are about love, they are about your family and they’re about your little niche in this world.

I want to tell your story and capture moments for your family too! Contact me today to plan your own lifestyle session!

As you’ll see, we did throw in a few outdoor (front yard) posed family photos which is something I’m happy to do at your lifestyle session too if you’d like.

Brian – Class of 2018 | Newport High School Senior Photos

I first met Brian back in 2013 when I photographed his mom’s wedding, and then I got to hang out with his family again when I shot his older sister’s senior photos in (Class of 2015!) so I was of course super honored when I was asked to shoot Brian’s photos as well. Brian’s one request for his photos was that we do it on a sunny day. Our first day got rained out, but we rescheduled for a few days later and were greeted with a brilliantly sunny (and hot!) fall evening. We wandered around Albany hitting some favorite spots and soaking up the sunshine. Enjoy Brian’s Photos:

If you’re graduating in 2018 yearbook deadlines are quickly approaching, but I’ve reserved some days for last minute senior sessions and so I can fit you in before the deadlines. Contact me today to set up your senior session.

Jonah Class Of 2018 | Corvallis Senior Photos

Jonah is a fan on of baseball, football and natural. So guess what we did for his senior session? That’s right, we hit up the baseball & football fields at Corvallis High School ( Go Spartans!) and then headed out to McDonald Dunn Forest to finish up his session in the woods.
We had a great time and I really enjoyed getting to chat with him about his sports and hobbies and then showcase his skills and favorite places in his senior photos.

Are you a 2018 senior? NOW is the time to do your senior session! Contact me today to start planning a session that shows off your unique personality.
