I was super excited when Becky and Nick asked me to be their wedding photographer. Not just because I knew their wedding was going to be incredible, but also because Dr. [Becky] Jester just so happens to be my dog Porter’s acupuncture veterinarian and I happen know she’s a super awesome person to be around! A few years ago Porter had back surgery and sees Becky every other month
for mobility and pain management. Anyways, enough about Porter!

Becky and Nick planned the most amazing victorian wedding at the Ainsworth House in Oregon City. The Ainsworth House, which was built in 1851, could not have been more perfect for their wedding with Nick in tails and Becky in a gorgeous vintage dress.
Spring sun was out in force and the gardens were coming alive with blossoms. Because we
lucked out with glorious weather, we were able to gather everyone in attendance outside after the ceremony for one big group photo!

Becky’s daughter Austynn and their dog Onyx both got to be involved in the wedding day.
Austynn had the entire reception rolling with laughter during her toast (roast?)!

Juliana’s Senior Photos | Oregon City Senior Photographer

Juliana grabbed one of the last August senior sessions before school started! We had a
wonderful time exploring a county park that’s actually a small rainforest. A tiny bit of hiking,
running across a swinging bridge and even some river-wading made Juliana’s semi-adventure session a blast. She brought her dog along for a few photos – which always makes me super
happy! 🙂 Thanks for hanging out with me Juliana, have an amazing senior year.

Megan & Aaron’s Oregon City Backyard Wedding | Portland Elopement Photographer

Oh man, where do I even start with gushing about Megan & Aaron’s wedding? Surrounded by their very closest of family members, these two celebrated 20 years together by getting married in Megan’s parent’s back yard.

Everything about their big day was just so relaxed and beautiful. Megan & Aaron’s first look and portraits was followed by a cocktail hour with their family members in the yard where they chatted over drinks while enjoying an amazing charcuterie board.

Aside from taking a quick break mid-ceremony to run off a squirrel and water a tree (photo below of course), their dog Ben was involved in every moment of the day. From helping Megan get ready until he fell asleep next to her chair after dinner – he took his role of “best friend to the couple” very seriously.

After the ceremony, Two Girls Catering served up an amazing Tri-Tip dinner which meant that even though it was a home wedding every single family member was able to relax and enjoy the day, drink in hand, without having to worry about making sure everyone was taken care of.

I absolutely loved how personal and joyful your wedding was, cheers to the next chapter in your relationship! Oh and sorry that most of your photos are of Ben…I get really distracted by 4-legged wedding guests 😉

Megan & Aaron’s officiant was the lovely Dee Richardson of Diva Matters Ministry and their bartending and amazing dinner was provided by Two Girls Catering.
