Sarah, Shawn and Grayson | Keizer Oregon Engagement and Family Photography

This has been a busy weekend for me, two weddings and a few sessions that I was trying to squeeze in before the rain started. Sarah and Shawn’s shoot was squeezed in for a whole different reason; on Sunday Shawn will be leaving for Afghanistan for 13 months. Leaving behind his fiance’ Sarah and 11 month old son Grayson. Sarah and Shawn wanted to get some family photos and engagement photos before his deployment. Sarah wanted to make sure she had some photos of Shawn and Grayson together so that she has something to point to and show Grayson his dad. Grayson was the happiest baby I think I’ve ever seen, he’s grinning or laughing in every shot.
You guys were an absolute joy to shoot, thank you so much for sharing this emotional and beautiful time in your lives with me. My prayers are with all of you during the next year.

Thank you, Shawn, for your service.

Usually when I start editing a session there are a select few that jump out to me as favorites,I honestly don’t think I could pick a favorite from this session! I got a little carried away, in fact there are 40 (yes FOURTY!) photos from their session on facebook so head over there and check the rest of them out.
Before you leave though, leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite photo here is. I’m sure Sarah and Shawn would love to see your comments to them as well!

Beautiful Paige | Albany Oregon Senior Portraits

On Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting Paige’s senior portraits. I love shooting senior pictures, what an exciting time in a student’s life, there is so much ahead of them! I am so jealous of Paige’s gorgeous eye lashes- can you believe those are totally natural?!

Call or email me today to book your senior session! Year book deadlines are quickly approaching, why not get your photos done before the weather packs up?

Check out Paige’s session on Facebook and don’t forget to ‘Like’ the page while you’re there!

Dennis and Kalei | Lebanon Oregon Wedding Photography

Dennis and Kalei have been married 20 years, and decided to renew their vows for their 20th anniversary!
Kalei is from Hawaii and many of her family members flew in for the ceremony, bringing with them amazing food, homemade
ukeleles and beautiful and incredibly fragrant leis! They brought a piece of Hawaiian culture to Lebanon, Oregon! I can’t even begin to describe the food, there was so much and the flavor was incredible, I only had a time for a few bites- but I’m crashing the next wedding this family has so I can get some more of that teriyaki beef and baked salmon!
Here is a sneak peek of Dennis and Kalei’s beautiful ceremony at Lebanon Foursquare Church.

Thank you Dennis and Kalei for having me be a part of your day. After a summer full of documenting new love, it’s refreshing and exciting to see a couple still very much in love after 20 years. It makes my heart happy! Blessings to you both and here’s to the next 20 years!

Don’t forget to check out my Facebook page for a few more photos!
